Rules and regulations
In an effort to create an enabling environment for free and fair football competitions, KYFA's priority has been to have clear laid down rules and regulations. Since 2006 all KYFA leagues and league committees are governed by respectively By-laws and policies. Participating teams have endorsed and adopted codes of conduct for their coaches, players and team managers.
Given the competitiveness of the leagues, teams often try to field players above the required age groups. Over the years vetting procedures and controls have been improved fine tuning a system of players cards that is unique in Kenya.
To improve efficiency in the registration procedures,we are using a fixture generating software and computerized databases of player information.
